Vancouver will host the 2010 Winter Olympics.

The Winter Olympics Games will run from February 12 to 28, 2010.

The Winter Paralympics Games will run from March 12 to 21, 2010.

 

The vast majority of Bed and Breakfasts Hosts have decided not to open reservations until one year prior to the event. This is to avoid deception as some B&Bs may not be in business anymore by that date or may offer totally different services during that period. Please note that all B&Bs will have higher "special event" rates during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

ACCOMMODATIONS IN VANCOUVER DURING THE 2010 WINTER OLYMPICS

During the Vancouver 2010 Olympics our bed and breakfast will be closed!

Instead, we will be offering a whole house for rent in Vancouver during the Vancouver 2010 Olympics (basement excluded). Located in one of the best neighborhoods in the heart of Vancouver, this house is the perfect base for people attending the 2010 Winter Olympics and Paralympics.

This modern house has a very large master bedroom with large ensuite bathroom with jet-tub, another bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms. This setting will sleep 8 people. A large family room may also be fitted with another bed for 2 more people; the house will sleep 10 people in that configuration. In that case, one bathroom will be shared between the main floor bedroom and the family room bedroom.

Besides the bedrooms, a large spiral staircase leads to the 2nd floor underneath a huge industrial size skylight. On the main floor a lage living room is adjacent to a large dining room. The family room is adjacent to a large kitchen with granite counter tops. Full pictures and a video tour will be posted closer to February 2009.

This page will only become active on February 12, 2009, one year prior to the 2010 Winter Olympics Games in Vancouver opening event. It will provide all the details including pictures and conditions.

 

We will accept requests for the rental through this website but please note that this house rental during the Vancouver 2010 Olympics is totally separate from "Arbutus Vista" Vancouver Bed and Breakfast which will be closed during the whole period of the Vancouver 2010 Olympics and Paralympics.

 

We are unable to keep a waiting list at this time. Reservations for the house rental will be on a first come first serve basis as of February 12, 2009.
