Fifteen months ago my wife, Clara Carina and I spent two happy and thoroughly spoilt weeks here.
Sadly, my wife died of myeloma on 30 July 2008. Our Vancouver-based family insisted that I come spend Christmas/New Year with them, so again Lauren and Patrick looked after me, this time for 13 sumptous "nuitées".
Wonderfully kind and generous - only one problem, my waistline! They even shovelled me out of the snow!! So again, my warmest thanks.
I wish you all strength and just reward this year and next.

What a wonderful home and welcome we experienced while visiting with you. “Luxury” class combined with charming host is hard to beat. Your gardens are magnificent and a perfect backdrop for your B&B and the enjoyment for your guests.
We had a great time while staying with you and hope we will get to see you again should we ever return to Vancouver. Caroline had a great time and really appreciated your help in keeping her bags until evening so she could enjoy the day.
We had a nice trip to Whistler on the train – would highly recommend it to anyone – also a must visit: the new Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Center. Our tour of it was very personal as our guide pointed out many of her family members and a young man, just married last Saturday, turned out to be the artist who carved the canoes on display (except the wedding boat which had been used in the wedding and not returned yet).

Patrick, we wanted to thank you for letting us know about "La Petite France". They are the best, we went there every that we were here. Lauren, after trying your orange juice and our welcome goodies, so generously provided by you, we were sorry about getting a "no breakfast" package :( . We drank the juice slow to make it last. Next time we will definitely get the breakfast! Thank you for providing amazing atmosphere away from home. Arbutus Vista B&B is wonderful place to stay while enjoying the splendor of Vancouver. Patrick and Lauren pay attention to detail and ensure that guests are fully looked after. The room was comfortable, clean, well stocked and in a quiet upscale neighborhood, just 1 block from a popular bus line. The breakfast's were out of this world....and on our last morning they invited us into their home to enjoy "real" French toast! What a treat....
I would highly recommend staying at Arbutus Vista Vancouver BandB over many other B&B's in the area!

We passed your website address on to the people we stayed at in a B & B at Halfmoon Bay on the Sunshine coast, they have children in Vancouver and since a new grandchild has arrived they need a B&B to stay in. So, hopefully you get to met them they are really nice people.

Patrick: My friend, Sheila, and I stayed at your B&B over Labour Day weekend
for 3 nights, as you may recall. We left without signing your guest book. We
had a great trip; traveled for 2 weeks and stayed mostly at B&Bs. Just wanted
to let you know that your place was the nicest. You have thought of so many extras
that made it a "cut above" the others. The space is amazing, the layout
is great, the décor is lovely, lots of extras in the kitchen, the welcome basket
